Located
in the NOHO (North Hollywood) Arts District
of
the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County,
Satsuma
Gallery is an artist-run exhibition space and
working
studio, with five founding members.
This
destination spot, once a textiles factory, is on the
south side grounds of Satsuma Avenue's historic
Mission
Church. Paintings, ceramics and mixed media
are
displayed in the front exhibition area while
visitors
are encouraged to experience the working
studio
space located in the remainder of the
building.
The public has the opportunity to watch
the
artists as they create their work, making
for
a unique personal experience.
